Uwa Senka is made from 100% kozo and features deckled edges all around for an natural base. “Gas Sarashi” is the bleaching process used to purify and lighten the paper without using chlorine, leaving it with a warm yellow hue and smooth texture. Uwa Senka is unsized and naturally absorbent, making it a great foundation for sumi-e and brush painting, acrylic painting, and printmaking!
