For thick and water-based mediums, Hosokawa Japanese paper is a perfect base or supplement to any artistic venture. Handmade with 100% Kozo fiber, Hosokawa and has a sturdy weight of 35 grams per square meter and durable texture. Experienced papermakers cook the green bark kozo pulp in soda ash to smooth coarse fibers and neutralize the ph, making it a great base for archival projects. The handmade paper is unbleached to maintain the warm white hue and unsized for natural (deckled) edges.
