Artisans in Bangladesh then create each sheet by hand and then marble each pattern onto the sheets. Every sheet of this decorative paper is unique due to the customized marbling.

The women artisans that craft the paper are Fair Trade certified. They are the primary providers for their families and the paper has been sourced at fair prices so that the women can make a decent living. Jute Fiber Paper weighs approximately 96 gsm which is heavier than traditional origami paper. It has a smooth surface and creases cleanly. The face of the paper features the marble design and the reverse remains the solid base color.  This assorted pack contains 12 assorted sheets of 6 inch jute marble origami paper in a variety of colors.
