Black Lacquered Yuzen Paper from Japan

Lacquered Yuzen has a distinctive raised texture not found in ordinary Yuzen paper. This embossed finish resembles the look of traditional Japanese lacquerware pieces. Each wax coated layer of black ink is hand silkscreened onto a high content Kozo base providing durability and flexibility. The lacquered chiyogami is ideal for bookmaking, origami and any paper craft requiring a sturdy paper with a unique finish.

The Konami pattern features large waves crashing across the page for an elegant black on black design.
