Thick Xuan Rice Paper

Thick Xuan Rice Paper is a premium traditional paper crafted from high-quality Pteroceltis bark sourced from Jingxian County, the birthplace of authentic Xuan paper. Pteroceltis trees produce tender, high-quality bark that is soft yet durable with abundant fibers. Lightly treated with alum on the back or course side of the paper, the thick xuan paper absorbs slightly but does not smear or bleed. 

This double-ply paper is suitable for calligraphy and ink painting, and provides an ideal surface when both fluidity and precision is desired.
