This Batik Lokta Paper from Nepal is hand-made in Nepal using traditional paper making techniques. A difficult wax and dye process then provides additional color intricate designs. Layers of color and wax combine on the page creating a visually stunning design on the handmade eco-friendly lokta paper base.

This neutral ph lokta paper starts with a natural base color and overlays a stripe pattern of bright pink, red and orange colors across the page. Lokta Paper is extremely durable and versatile due to the long fibers in the pulp. Use it in bookbinding, interior design, collage, origami and many other paper art and design projects.
