Hand-Bound Journal with Japanese Yuzen Paper by Erin Keane

Erin Keane combines her love of books and her love of encaustic art in creating hand-bound journals. This journal utilizes encaustic beeswax, photographic transfer and a mixed media collage to create a front cover unlike anything you have seen before. Japanese Chiyogami Paper used to create the back cover of the journal, which is then bound together by hand with a coptic binding and weave stitch.
