Beverly Martin created this colorful and intricate autumn-themed Iris Fold using handmade Nepalese Lokta Paper! With long plant fibers spread throughout the sheet, Lokta paper is durable and flexible, making it great for repetitive folding and shaping necessary in Iris Folding. 

Beverly Martin is from Circleville, Ohio where, in her own words, “pumpkin is KING!”  She elaborates, “Every year our entire town shuts down starting the third Wednesday of October for four days for the Circleville Pumpkin Show.  It’s a huge event and has been going on for over 110 years.”  Beverly donated this pumpkin piece to her local Senior Center for an annual auction and dinner where her Iris Fold was the affection of a bidding war that raised several hundred dollars for the Center!
