Chinese Sewing Kits by Linda Rossi

Pennsylvania artist, Linda Rossi created Chinese Sewing Kits, or "zhen xian bao." This little known folk art is thought to be the precursor to origami. These boxes utilize the use of collapsing boxes and folding pockets to store needles, thread, and buttons. The zhen xian bao make for practical, inexpensive, and portable containers. Linda used some of our Chiyogami paper, Marbled Momi paper, Thai Banana paper, and Lokta paper.
